People leaving had never been an easy thing for me to deal with. Never. Now, I'm the one leaving them behind while I continue on a whole new chapter of my life once more. This very task seems to be more difficult to accomplished than before. I know this could be an amazing ride down the water slide or just one with a blank piece of paper at the end of the day.
I'm gonna choose to jump down the slide, regardless of how much fear and anxiety I've been experiencing. I am going to live the life the way I want to. I'm not going to let the devils in my head tell me how I should feel, how I should live my life and how i should love.
I'm going to be happy and I want the people around me to be as well.

| I'm Not Ready |

I should be asleep by now but I need to get this out of my system.
I thought Plan B would be really easy for me to accept. However, the thought of really leaving this place scares me. I am not ready to leave the people behind. I am not ready to leave the life I have here behind. (though I would much rather prefer the life I had a few months before..)
I've been thinking about some people recently and I know they really mean a lot to me. Sometimes I can't help but wonder if they think of me and miss me. I know I should have faith in them, honestly I do but it gets hard at times. I am only human.. and all I had been doing is holding on to the positive thoughts and memories that I have to keep me going. I dont know if they know but whenever I get to see or even talk to them for the few minutes, I will be a very happy girl and contented. Like what I learnt from a dear friend of mine, it is all the little details that count. Maybe all the changes in my life is scaring me a little and maybe I just need to gain back that strength that I had before and toughen up. I've missed you all. <3

Some short updates:
Mel brought me to Pasadena during the week for a dinner with her friend (: Pasadena is a really nice place to live. Lots of beautiful houses, restaurants, bars and shops, all within walking distance.
Went to a halloween party last weekend! In the states, Halloween is a huge thing! Real big. You get to see a lot of houses decorated with scary looking things and such. The one that I was at for a party, it was literally a haunted house! Haha! I've met some really nice people to.
This week, I met up with Gladys and Jonathan for dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. It was a nice dinner with loads of laughers. (:
For the rest of the week, there's nothing much except that now, I'm getting ready to head to the beach! Hope the sun is gonna be up today! (:

Some random updates.
So, technically im like a tourist here and im lovin' it.
Been to the grocers a few times, pretty awesome and huge place to shop for groceries! Nicer than our Cold storage of Fairprice x 10!
Bought a lot of microwaveable items too cos im not a great chef. I will be one by the time i get home! hehe. Oh and OMG B&Js and Haagen Daz here are SO FREAKING CHEAP! USD 5.99 and you get a pint! OH OH and they have STARBUCKS ice cream here!
Oh and a lady asked where did i get my haircut from! haha! Okay random.
I do feel like I'm living my lil own eat pray love journey!
I really do love to shop btw. However, I know how to control. hehe. It's not all mine below, i bought some stuff for my mum and bros too.
Did some crazy ass shopping today, bought loads of vans stuff, went h&m and also pacsun w loads of surfer brands(: (Y)
Oh and I had a few pretty awesome chats with my awesome friends the last few days! and skype w mum can be fun sometimes! hehe. Okay, I feel sleepy now, time to turn in and more research to do tmr!

| Crazy First Saturday! |

I've only been in this country for 3 days, and the next thing you know, I'm jumping off the plane! Yes, SKY DIVING!
It was so so awesome!
They didnt do much training for you, however, I was assured by the guy that I will go nowhere without him. So, tada! What the heck, just do it! (Y)
Anyway, we got on the plane, and I was so lucky to be the co-pilot for the day!! I sat next to the pilot. At the front seat! Whoohoo! The view was amazing! So so beautiful. So, before I know it, it's time to jump! Btw, we were 12,500 feet above the groud. I was the last to jump. I was feeling alright when I was on the plane BUT the moment I saw my friend, Gladys, jump, i was like OMFG, I cant turn back now can i. haha! So, I jumped! The feeling was just so crazy! For the first 3 seconds, you experienced the butterflies in your stomach (like the feeling you get when you sit in a roller coaster). Your head goes first too! After that 3 seconds, it was just free fall all the way! It's only half way down when you pull the parachute out! I got the chance to pull it and control the parachute with the help of my partner of course. He took over control after a while and did is spiral thing while we come down. Oh and his name is steve. The feeling was just so amazing! Till now, I am comprehanding the fact that I actually freaking jumped off a plane! (:
Guys, you have to do it. For real! I never imagine that I will do it, but i freaking did! You only live once man, so just go for it.
Alright, Im on my way outta starbucks, gonna grab cici's pizza or subway for dinner later.. Gonna walk around and maybe do some shopping. hehe. Okay and maybe write my report for school when I get home later (:
I miss you guys! I am having a hell of a time here but I do think of you guys and wished you guys were here with me doing all these crazy ass shit!

P.S A lot of people has been telling me that my english is really good. It's either that they have not met a lot of asians who can speak english or they are just ignorant about Singapore. haha oh well, anyway it's a complement and I am glad i did sg pround? (:

Honestly, it feels like I'm on a holiday more than an internship programme. I've been shopping and having awesome food since day 1.
Met Gladys ytd for lunch together with my manager at an asian restaurant. I must say, the asian food there is quite good. Though the hot and spicy soup is kinda funny but taste good.
If you dont know, it was during lunch when Gladys told us that she was going for sky diving and she is bringing me too! So I am gonna do it with her! Plus, it's her bday! So exciting!! Cant wait! Oh and after this conversation we had, i recieved this fortune cookie:

As for today.. I woke up really early to go to starbucks to do my work. More workload today. New jobscopes! Oh and I got a free coffee at starbucks because one of my roommates happen to work there! How cool is that! :D
Had lunch with some of the co-workers from the company at California Pizza Kitchen for gladys! 's birthdayThe portions are insane for one person. I swear 2 people can share one. But it's so so good! I had the cheeseburger pizz which my manager, mel, thought was gross! haha!
Okay it may not look as good as it tastes but yea.. DAMN AWESOME!
Got home really early today as mel had to drive up to hollywood. So here I am, in my room, gonna take a short nap and continue on my research. (Y)
On a side note, everyone here is so nice. Love the culture. Service here is too good! They talk to you like they are your friends. This guy even said my shoes were cute today. haha! and this other guy who asked if everything was alright sounded like a women. I got a shocked for a moment when i turned around to answer. hehe. Oh and the guy at H&M is too cute! (:
